iSigma Capital was founded at September, 2000 as a subsidiary of Marubeni Corporation, a general trading house. Marubeni historically has developed through equity participation, and investments in new businesses, and iSigma will build upon the heritage, but yet by crystallizing various skills and knowledge Marubeni owns by acting as a cross functional entity that can move across individual business divisions. iSigma’s main target business sectors are: Information Technology, Life Science and New Energy, Environment. They have invested into various business sectors in the past, and they are always open to investments in business sectors that cannot be categorized by the above three sectors.
