Venture Capital in Greece – Alpha Ventures

As of 2001, Alpha Ventures has undertaken the management of investments made by the Alpha Equity Fund, through which the Group realises its new venture capital investments. Prospects for the venture capital / equity financing sector remain favourable. They constitute an alternative source of financing business ventures, particularly when conventional financing entities, such as banks, are not willing to support investments that are not accompanied by commensurate security. Demand for such financing is expected to increase in forthcoming years.
