We are an English Academy based in Costa Rica, whose main target are companies within the tourist industry. As you may know, Costa Rica's main income is generated by visitors, along with huge investments form abroad. Surely, our market comprehends a variety of sectors, including the Government. Is important to note that this is not a new business. The new owner must adapt to the current customers, and learn our selling strategies before incorporating his/her new ideas. Because we have income generating clients, your investment will start paying off. No major investments will be required, since the package we offer includes equipment, furniture, computer system, web site, library, teaching materials, teaching staff, new business finding stratergies, complete syllabus and much more. You will get to work inmediately and receive inmediate income. Asked price: $200.000. I receive two payments, one initial payment of 50% and the other after the 3 months of operation. Training by founder for 4 months. This includes meeting with current and potential customers, and preparing new staff in every detail. Annual Gross Revenues (=$1218242) and Annual Cash Flow (=$413569)are expressed as an average of the first 10 years of opetaion according to our financial study. Remember this isn't a new business, so I must train your staff and give the necessary assistance. However, due to a cultural aspect of my country, I cannot simply "disappear". I can surely hire the necessary personnel to keep going with operations. Also, it's important you send a representative to Costa Rica, and have him/her to observate in detail our offices and visit some of our projects. In other words, I can be your manager (at no further cost) for the first four months. During that time I will train your new staff (including the new manager) on how to handle the current projects and on how to expand to our potential customers or projects. After this period your staff will be capable of maintaining our customers as well as openinng new ones, then I will stop managing. However I plan to stay in Costa Rica for three more years, while I complete my medical studies. During this time I can advise you, again, at no cost. Consider the alternative of paying 50% of the cost ($100.000) to set up your new organization. This means: 1. Continue operations in the two offices (San Jose and Jaco) 2. Open new office in Guanacaste area (like Tamarindo) where an unsatisfied demand for English is waiting. 3. Produce inmediate income out of current costumers 4. Open Tourism careers (this service is not yet available in the touristic sectors (pacific coasts). There are a few universities offering similar careers but only in San Jose, way far form the costs, and thousands of people dont have access to them. 5. Impelmentaion of web services 6. Signing new contracts with potential customers. These are companies that have shown interest in our services, but for different reasons, haven't been able to start classes. This reasons are low budgets for personnel training, high season (specially in Hotels) among others. Therefore we keep of this companies in order to guarantee new custimers through out the year. 7.
