Venture Capital in Ukraine – Horizon Capital

Established in 1995, WNISEF is a $150 million fund that has invested in small and medium-sized companies in Ukraine and Moldova. WNISEF provides its portfolio companies with capital and necessary management tools to evolve from entrepreneurial ventures into professionally managed companies. Proceeds from WNISEF\'s equity investments of $1 million to $10 million in size are used primarily for restructuring and expansion. WNISEF has invested in a range of industries with substantial experience in FMCG (fast moving consumer goods), industrial goods, retail/distribution, and financial services. Since inception, WNISEF has invested over $95 million in 28 companies in Ukraine and Moldova. As of March 2005, WNISEF has completed 12 full and eight partial realizations. © Horizon Capital
