MIF is a private equity investment vehicle, funded by first rate institutional and private investors, both Mexican and international. MIF wishes to take minority stakes in Mexican subsidiaries that supply global original equipment manufacturers within NAFTA and the European Union. Mexican Company sales are typically in the range of US $5 to 20 million, with a high percentage going to the export markets and expected to grow rapidly. MIF investments are in the range of US $3 to 10 million. Target sectors would include: manufacturing, autoparts, electrodomestics, electronics, computer equipment, white goods and telecommunications.
