Venture Capital in Finland – Finnvera PLC

The objective of Finnvera\'s risk management is to ensure that the risk-taking capacity required in order to achieve the goals set for the company\'s operations is maintained over the long term. In essence, risk management means controlled taking of credit risks and elimination of, or hedging against, other risks. Within the Finnvera Group, venture capital investments are carried out by Veraventure Oy, Aloitusrahasto Vera Oy and Matkailunkehitys Nordia Oy. Investments made in these companies are included within the scope of Finnvera plc’s credit risk monitoring.
