Venture Capital in Denmark – Symbion Management A/S

Symbion Capital is the largest private venture fund in Denmark in the pre-seed and seed segments. They invest in IT, telecommunication, biotech, pharma and medico. Symbion Capital can invest risk capital for the start of the company provided that the company idea fulfils our investment criteria. They can invest in you, your team and your idea, typically DKK 2 – 8 million, but in certain cases also more than DKK 20 million. They can be the sole investor or enter into syndications. All potential investments are subject to a thorough screening. A typical screening lasts from two to six months and is supervised by two venture managers from Symbion Management. When all risks have been thoroughly analysed and contractual expectations have been harmonised, the Board of Symbion Capital decides if the investment will be made. Investments are paid in instalments depending on the fulfilment of the stipulated organisational, technological and financial goals. © Symbion
