First opened a tradional sign business, as sole proprietor, in 1966. Prior to franchising, Mr. Warr was also involved in the silkscreen printing industry, electric sign manufacturing, sign maintenance, plastic molding, computer aided design (CADD), and commercial real estate. His tradtitional sign business was incoporated as Monotag Corporation on June 6, 1978. Diligently forming and refining systems, through personal business experience, has allowed Mr. Warr to develop the Signs First® franchise concept to its present form. Mr. Warr began to franchise Signs First® stores in June 1989.
