Ventizz was established in 2000 by the partners Dr. Helmut Vorndran and Reinhard Löchner together with the Dutch company NPM Capital N.V. The aim was to build up a private-equity enterprise focussed on technology-oriented growth companies. Compared with other venture-capital companies, the main distinction was and is still the entrepreneurial background and the international operating experiences of the management team.
