LPX provides the first family of indices representing listed private equity (LPE) companies. Listed private equity companies, as the name suggests, are listed on a stock exchange. LPE are traded stocks of companies whose core business is to invest in private equity. The universe of LPE companies can be subdivided into four groups: Public Partnerships: SVG Capital, Candover Investment Trust; Fund-of-Funds: AIG Private Equity, Pantheon Ventures, Castle; Fondsgesellschaften: 3i Group, Capman, ICG and; Investmentgesellschaften: Eurazeo, Ratos. © LPX
