Universal International Investment Ltd and Subsidiaries (The Group) is an investment group with business interest in real estate, manufacturing and servicing business ventures in China, Hong Kong and overseas. The Group, founded by Mr. David C.W. Yeh in 1964, commenced its operations in Hong Kong as a contract manufacturer for overseas toy companies. In 1996, the Group has acquired the controlling interest of a Dry-Cleaning chain in Shanghai. Subsequently, the chain has entered into an exclusive contract with the Shanghai MTR for setting up of drop shops in all the subway stations. This increases the company\'s existing number of outlets to 30 and the Group intends to expand the number to 50 by the end of 1998. The Group is specialized in giving corporate advice to Western investors for projects in China and is interested in co-investing into the projects if they coincide with the Group\'s investment criteria. © Universal International Investment
