Weber Capital Management, LLC is a crossover investor in mid to late-stage ventures and micro-cap public companies. Founded in 1994 as Bluewater Capital Management, the firm initially managed the U.S. investment activities of a London-based institutional investor. In 1999, the firm changed its name to Weber Capital Management and raised a fund for outside investors. Weber Capital is a long-term equity investor in information technology, communications and healthcare. Since 1994, they have invested over $150 million and currently hold positions in about 40 companies, half of which are private. In both our public and private portfolios, our software investments have included Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Digital Rights Management (DRM), Electronic Design Automation (EDA), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), search, and storage software. Our hardware investments have focused on sectors such as digital broadcasting, semiconductors, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), wire line and wireless communications.
