Sole practitioner in west part of the Great Toronto Area is looking for CA currently working in public practice, a sole practioner or small partnership to join practice. The practice has been growing at a rate of 25% per annum for the last four years and the practice is now too large for one CA to manage by himself. The prospective CA will purchase an interest in the existing practice. This will provide the new CA a bonus since he/she will receive an interest in the growth of the practice without having to pay any goodwill to earn an interest in these new clients. The ideal candidates will be: • Knowledgeable of the current accounting and auditing standards • Currently a manager in a CA firm or is a CA with a small public practice • Details oriented • Strong, enthusiastic team player • Able to work independently • Organized • Able to meet deadlines • Excellent communication skills • Multi-tasker and effective time manager Qualifications: • You have a minimum of seven years Canadian experience in a public accounting practice • Must have a Canadian CA designation • Ability to work in a team based environment • Ability to prioritize and manage deadlines and schedules • Excellent client relations skills • Ability to work independently • Knowledge of MS Office Suite Products, Caseware, CaseView, TaxPrep, Business Vision, Newviews, Simply Accounting and QuickBooks an asset Remuneration: • Remuneration will be based on experience and level • Full benefits package • Opportunity to become a partner within 3 to 6 months for the right CA candidate
